MA program in Comparative Commercial Law has been operating at IBSU since 2015. The program is Georgian with English components. The purpose of the program is to provide students with deep and systematic knowledge in commercial field, primarily about regulating private law relationships. Throughout the study process of any field, education limited with only national level can not correspond to the current requirements. Because of this, the topics presented in the study disciplines, are discussed through comparative analysis of Roman, English and American common law, European law. Education based on comparison allows us to deepen students’ knowledge, broaden their horizons and find innovative solutions to problematic issues. Along with Georgian specialists, foreign professionals are also engaged in the educational process. From the wide choice of elective subjects, students have opportunities to select the course to their wish and attend lectures delivered by Italian, Dutch, German and American practicing specialists.
